Looking for an easy hike with unlimited views? Have you already been to the Peak? Then why not head to over to Braemar Hill (also known as the Red Incense Burner Summit)?
I know what you’re thinking, ‘it’s hot’ or ‘I’m not fit enough to climb up Hong Kong’s hills’. Fear not! Braemar Hill is only a 15 min walk from the bus stop and is suitable for most fitness levels. Trust me, you won’t regret making the trip.
How do I get there?
The easiest and quickest way to get to the Braemar Hill Bus Terminus is to take Green Minibus 25 from Causeway Bay. Once you get off the bus, cross the road and to the left of St Joan of Arc school you’ll see some steps leading down to a pathway. Follow this path to a much larger set of stairs heading up.
Keep going for about 10 minutes until you reach a junction. Turn right and head up the small trail with red ribbons until you hit the rocks. Squeeze through the rocks and you’ll be rewarded with one of the best views in Hong Kong!
